Climbing

Climbing fans are at ease in Val Senales, as here lies one of the most important rock-climbing walls in South Tyrol; it’s called Saustall. These walls are suitable for expert climbers, as the difficulty level is high; the rocks are equipped with artificial notches to be used as handles. Another place where climbing is possible is near Naturno, around Castel Juval. The rock is made up by gneiss and the kind of climbing is vertical; it won’t be difficult to find this rock climbing wall, using Castel Juval as a reference point; it’s possible also to park near it.
