Culture and Tradition
A symbol of culture and tradition in Val Senales is the Archeoparc in Madonna di Senales (German: Unser Frau). This museum is located where Ötzi, the “Similaun mummy” was found and it illustrates the life conditions in South Tyrol during the prehistoric time also thanks to multi-media instruments. The track followed by Ötzi in the mountains across the mountains was “rebuilt” as well. This museum is very popular among children and visiting it is a good idea for your Val Senales holidays; this valley offers many family initiatives. It’s possible to visit the Archeoparc alone or in groups. If you spend you holidays with dog in South Tyrol, there are water bowls and dog food in a shadowed area in the museum open spaces.
