Val Senales Events

One of the most astonishing Val Senales events is the “Ice Music Festival”; this concert takes place at 3000 meters of altitude in an igloo; musicians play ice instruments. Hotels South Tyrol it’s a very particular event and very popular among music fans, as listening to music amidst ice is simply an unique experience. The music hall is excavated in ice, together with the bar and seats; very warm clothes are recommended! The “Ice Music Festival” takes place between the end of February and the beginning of March; artists from all over the world participate into this event, especially from Scandinavia, where the idea of “ice concerts” was born. The Ice Dome, the concert hall made of ice, isn’t just a place where to listen to good music, but also an après-ski bar!
